PGA Junior League Golf (JLG) is designed to better socialize the game for Boys & Girls, 13 years of age and younger by July 31, 2012. JLG features a team vs. team format in a structured league that provides a popular, less stressful scramble format to medal-play competition. This is a great way to get kids involved in the game.

Program Structure
Local leagues consist of 4-7 teams
Team vs. Team competitions consist of four 9-hole matches
Matches are 4-ball (2 vs. 2) scramble format, broken into 3-hole segments called Flags ensuring every participant a chance to play
City Championships will take place in each market at the conclusion of league play (this is if there are multiple leagues in a city)
All-Star Teams selected from each city will advance to compete in Sub-Regional, Regional Championships and ultimately the JLG World Series
Pro Rules and Responsibilities
Recruit & field an active roster of boys/girls with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 14 players (Do not have to be from the same club unless they are already on another team)
Team registration fees are determined on a club-by-club basis. Each player is provided 5-6 matches, jersey, golf balls, bag tag and flag stickers.
Host 2 or 3 home competitions and attend 2 or 3 away competitions vs. other JLG teams in your area
Submit all results within 24 hours of competition completion
Timeline
Local Leagues
Play will be completed by July 8, 2012. Matches in your local league will start in mid-May and can be completed after school or on weekends while school is still in progress.
City Champ./ Regionals
City Championships and regionals are to be completed by August 5th.
JLG World Series
World Series will be completed in mid-August in the city/town where the PGA Championship will be held. Participating teams will be involved with the PGA Championship in some capacity.
