Providing a fun and invaluable opportunities to get out and play, The Junior Golf Program leads the region in competitive Junior golf. The Philadelphia Section Junior Program membership ranges from ages 6-18. These young golfers represent all geographic areas of the Philadelphia Section. The Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour conducts over 50 events seasonally at top facilities. All are enjoyable family friendly events.

Players have a wide range in age, ability and experience, therefore the program is specialized accordingly. The program consists of three separate tours, the Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour, the Developmental Tour and the Girls Golf Tour. Each offers the best in instruction, competition and experience for members. The Developmental Tour operates specifically for younger Juniors, 6-9 year olds, looking to gain experience and learn skills. The Philadelphia Junior Golf Tour offers competitive tours for both boys and girls ages 10-18.  The Girls Golf Tour offers a stepping stone program from first swing to collegiate golf, with Girls Swing Clinics, the Girls Developmental Tour, and the Girls Golf Tour, which offers a competitive, supportive, and social atmosphere for girls ages 7-18, with both 9 and 18 hole divisions.

 
The program holds a Junior Golf Kick-Off event allowing competition in a skills challenge with other regional organizations. The Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour hosts local and sectional qualifiers for the Junior PGA Championship, a nationally recognized event, sending two winners to compete against other PGA Sections as well as invited international competitors. With opportunities to learn, grow, and compete many graduate to play at the college level and beyond. The Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour Program is proud to help in developing social skills, self esteem, and inspire youth in our community.
