About the Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour

Providing fun and invaluable opportunities to get out and play, the junior golf program leads the region in competitive Junior golf. The Philadelphia Section Junior Tour's membership ranges from ages 8-18. These young golfers represent all geographic areas of the Philadelphia Section. The Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour conducts over 70 events seasonally at top facilities. All are enjoyable family friendly events (more).

The ShopRite LPGA Classic will be returning to Seaview Resort & Spa in Galloway, NJ from May 28 - June 3, 2012.  100% of advance ticket sales go to charity, and this year, our charity - The Greater Philadelphia Junior Golf Foundation - is one of the benefitting charities.  The Greater Philadelphia Junior Golf Foundation funds the Harry Hammond Invitational which has awarded 23 scholarships to Junior Tour members.  The Foundation also works with organizations like the Mid-Atlantic Blind Golfers' Association, Variety - The Children's Charity and local First Tee Programs.  Please click here to purchase tickets and donate your ticket sales to the Greater Philadelphia Junior Golf Foudnation.

The PGA Golf Management University Program, a 4.5 to 5 year college curriculum for aspring PGA Professionals is offered at 20 PGA accredited universities nationwide.  The Pennsylvania State University located in State College, PA is the only PGA accredited university in the Philadelphia Section PGA.  For more information on the PGM Program at Penn State, please click here.
